Looky Lou Feeder--Rotating

Looky Lou Feeder Rotating – Because Even Animals Like to Check Themselves Out

As shown, the “hazy” protective film mask remains secured but, once this masking is removed, the mirror is as high-quality as the one in your house.

Are you working with an animal that seems just a little too self-aware? Maybe it’s a chimp who admires their own reflection, a parrot who nods approvingly at their feathers, or a bear who just knows they’re the main character. Whatever the case, the Looky Lou Feeder (Rotating) is here to feed both their bellies and their egos!

Designed for the most inquisitive of creatures, this feeder comes with a recessed mirror for safe, uninterrupted self-admiration. Behind the mirror, we’ve hidden (2) 4” fill ports, making snack refills quick and easy. Choose between double ¾” feeder holes (for the daintier diners) or a single 1½” hole (for those who like to feast in style).

Now with Spinning Eyebolts!

What’s better than a Looky Lou? A Rotating Looky Lou! This model features two solid machine-grade eyebolts—not the flimsy, “might-bend-when-sneezed-on” kind. These bad boys spin, allowing for both vertical and horizontal mounting, because let’s face it—animals don’t follow human furniture rules. As always, all eyebolts include a Carabiner for each one.

Mirror, Mirror, On the Feeder...

We know that mirrors take a beating, so we offer two material choices:

  • PETG (Highly Reflective) – Comes with two polycarbonate covers to shield against overenthusiastic snouts.
  • Polished Stainless Steel (Unbreakable) – Special order only. Call us, and we’ll make it happen.

Oh, and about water exposure? We’ve grilled every mirrored plastic manufacturer, and they all agree that water is the enemy of plastic mirrors. A light spritz every now and then? No problem. Full saltwater immersion? That mirror will degrade faster than a snack in an elephant enclosure. To fight the inevitable, we seal every mirror before shipping, slowing down the effects of moisture. (But let’s be honest, your animal probably cares more about their reflection than its lifespan.)

So if your self-aware zoo resident needs a snack station, a mirror, and a bit of spinning enrichment, the Rotating Looky Lou Feeder is the answer. Because let’s face it—sometimes, animals just need to stare at themselves.

Did You Know?

When you purchase a mirrored product like our Looky Lou or Rocky Lou, you actually get (2) layers of clear Polycarbonate plastic and (1) of mirrored PETG plastic. Why?

First, early on, the mirror material was either Acrylic or Polycarbonate. We found the Acrylic Mirror to be weaker than we wanted. The Polycarbonate was certainly strong enough but more costly and tended to scratch easier. Enter PETG Mirror!

PETG Mirror is the best of both worlds. It is very strong and, yet, priced in the range of Acrylic. Nice! We have a video of an impact test if you want to see it.

Why the Polycarbonate? To protect the surface finish of the PETG Mirror. We ship your mirrored item with (1) Polycarb CLEAR Cover on the top layer and another one on the back side to be used on the front side when the original becomes too scratched. Kind of like a built-in spare tire. This way, the mirror is always protected.
